It can occur at any time in your life, and everyone knows the feeling. Suddenly, your senses move beyond their normal range, and a feeling comes over you that is can be puzzling, comforting or terrifying. Maybe it tells you someone is not to be trusted. Maybe it tells you someone is a friend. The common thread is that you were able to experience these emotions by using something inside you that falls outside the five senses – sight, sound, smell, taste and touch.
When these “gut feelings” prove to be correct, as they often are, what are the factors at work? The fact of the matter is that everyone is born with Sixth Sense abilities, but some of us are more in touch with them than others. Those who believe can embrace the opportunities to enhance their lives, or possibly avoid disaster.
The stories are countless:
The examples go on and on. Naysayers try to write off the evidence as coincidence, and scientists point to subconscious cues we don’t realize we’re experiencing, but the list is too long and the occurrences too common. Psychologists have even done studies that have proven our subconscious is able to predict danger moments before the true danger exists, thus “I had a bad feeling but I didn’t know why.”
The sixth sense comes in many forms and is crucial to the lives of psychics. Some are skilled in telepathy; others experience it through premonitions and visions. Some are able to communicate with other entities. We all have this ability to an extent, some of us have refined it and learned how to recognize it and react.
The common thread is the close connections we have with friends and family. As evidenced by the almost commonplace occurrence of twins experiencing each other’s emotions, we develop stronger connections in life with those we care most about. Even though we sometimes are separated physically, we are still connected emotionally.
How can you refine your sixth sense and use it to your advantage? Well, everyone is born with a different level of sensitivity to the sixth sense and you can’t really “improve” yours, however you can enhance your sensitivity to the abilities you already possess.
Here are some hints to help you develop your sixth sense:
Remove the mixed messages and learn to ignore irrationality and you can become more intuitive.
Your mind doesn’t randomly come up with “gut instinct” answers, it uses information gained and abilities you might not be aware of to come up with answers. Improve your inner confidence!
Get back in touch with nature and filter out society to enhance your five main senses, which in turn leads to a better connection with your sixth sense.
h4>Listen!Spend more time listening to others than talking about yourself and learn to recognize the clues you usually miss.
Think with the mind, feel with the heart. The more you can separate the two, the more in touch you become with your intuition.
